Abstract

Social media has become an influential digital communication platform that significantly shapespolitical awareness and democratic participation. This study examines the role of social media inenhancing political awareness among women in Andhra Pradesh by analysing their access topolitical information, digital engagement, and participation in democratic processes. The studyadopts a descriptive research design and is based entirely on secondary data collected from authentic sources, including the Election Commission of India
