Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs) are widely used in gas turbine engines to protect turbinecomponents from high-temperature environments and improve thermal efficiency. The performance anddurability of TBC systems are significantly influenced by the formation and growth of thermally grown oxide (TGO) layers at the coating-substrate interface during service conditions
