Abstract

Most modern cloud-native designs make heavy use of sidecar patterns for handling cross-cuttinginfrastructure concerns. Observability operations such as metrics collection, distributed tracing, and logaggregation are supported by auxiliary containers that are deployed side-by-side with applicationworkloads.
