Abstract

With the increasing standard of living, there is a growing demand for automation to simplify daily life. This work aims to develop a microcontroller-based system that automatically counts the number of people entering and exiting a room and displays the count on an IoT platform. The system utilizes two IR sensors placed at a fixed distance apart to detect the movement of individuals.
