Fostering Academic Excellence: The Role of Religious Character and Motivation through the Integration of Islamic Values in Mathematics Education

This study examines the incorporation of Islamic beliefs into mathematics education and its effects on students' religious character, motivation, and academic performance. The research, conducted at the University of Lahore, Pakistan, using a quasi-experimental design featuring a pre-test and post-test methodology with 35 undergraduate mathematics students. The intervention integrated Quranic teachings and Islamic ethical values into a descriptive statistics course, with the objective of fostering a learning environment that aligns with students' cultural and religious identities.
